Cats The Way To Do It | Cats on Duty (Match-Three Tower Defence Game)
74Cats on Duty is a gloriously bonkers game where we play a little match-three minigame to earn cat food so we can deploy cats armed with guns to fight the undead.
Obviously.
The game is split into two parts. On the left of the screen is a traditional match-three minigame, where we swap little tokens around in order to get at least three in a line. The more tokens we get in a line, the more cat food we earn.
On the right of the screen is a real time strategy tower defence game, where enemies march at us from the right in lanes and we need to use the cat food we've earned to deploy different cats (pistol cats, shotgun cats, mine cats) to fight off the undead.
The thing is, this is all happening at once. Whilst the undead are shambling their way toward us, and whilst they're nibbling at our cats brains, we have to also play the match-three game to earn more food to deploy more cats!
At the start it's all nice and easy, we have plenty of time to do everything, but as time goes on more and more undead come toward us, they're quicker, they're stronger, and it becomes harder and harder to fight them off with our cat friends!
