Cavalcadence plays Cadence 3: Trick or Treat! (Zone 2)

It's Halloween! And what's a young adventurer do on Halloween? That's right, go Trick or Treating! =)

Cadence decided to go Trick or Treating dressed as one of her evil clones! And of course, her clones, not to be outdone, have also gone Trick or Treating... dressed as Cadence. =)


So... earlier this month, just for fun, I designed a "Trick or Treat" version of Cadence, complete with a pumpkin-bucket for collecting candy (or coins)... and it turned out pretty cute, so I thought I'd record a video with it. And that's what this is.

I decided to try for King Conga for this video, since I think King Conga is a fun boss battle (and I haven't posted a video of him yet). Unfortunately, every time I got a decently good run (getting to the Zone 2 boss battle with 4 or more hearts), the random number generator chose one of the other bosses instead... =/

I'm decently happy with this run, though, because despite the fact that I took some careless damage in, uh, more than a couple places leading up to the boss battle... the boss battle itself went relatively smoothly. =) It kind of had to, given that I only had half a heart left by the time I got there! Anyway, hope you enjoy! =)


The Zone 2 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were: Red Dragon, Gray Direbat, Gray Minotaur, and King Conga 2.

Also, it looks like I used a lot of different weapons during this run! Weapons used during this run: Dagger, Golden Dagger, Dagger of Frost, Spear, Obsidian Spear, Titanium Longsword.


Some notes and possible points of interest:

0:20 Zone 2, Level 1
1:35 First coin multiplier lost, first damage taken (Golem)
1:54 Mini-boss: Red Dragon
2:33 I decided to go back for the apple, even though I suspected I might not make it back to the exit in time
2:55 Song ends, Cadence falls through a trapdoor to the next level, coin multiplier is lost
2:57 Zone 2, Level 2
4:29 Mini-boss: Gray Direbat
4:46 Took some careless damage while getting to the Gray Direbat... good thing I went back for that apple on Level 1! =9
4:51 Zone 2, Level 3
5:23 Played a couple enemies badly, and took a bunch of careless damage
5:25 Down to half a heart! With no food or healing anywhere! No-damage run from this point forward! =)
5:58 Mini-boss: Gray Minotaur
7:12 Zone 2, Boss: King Conga 2
7:42 Defeated King Conga... then promptly missed the very next beat! =p On the plus side, made it through the boss battle with only half a heart of health! =)
