So... what's "Airscape"?

Airscape: The Fall of Gravity is a gravity-shifting action platformer about questionable physics, a dangerous world, and an octopus in a helmet. If that sounds interesting to you (and why wouldn't it?), there's a free demo available on Steam. =) I'll leave a link to it near the bottom of this description.


So... what's this video?

LR (@looproots), who I think is a Japanese NecroDancer fan, constructed Cadence and Clone versions of the Airscape protagonist for Crypt of the NecroDancer. I thought they turned out pretty cute, so I decided to record a video with them. =)

Note: I recolored the Clone to a more purple-ish color (to differentiate it from the Cadence version), and gave it red eyes (like Cadence's clones).

Oh, one thing that LR did that I thought was neat was making Cadence's armor represented by the octopus's helmet. So you start out with no helmet (just like in Airscape), then acquire one later in the game... At least you do if you can find some armor. Oddly, during this run, I encountered no Torches... and the only Armor I encountered was a Karate Gi... which I didn't want to pick up, since it actually increases the amount of damage you take (though to help make up for that, it does also increase the amount of damage you inflict).

On the plus side, though, I actually made it through the entire run without taking any damage... and only lost my coin multiplier once! So I'm pretty happy about that. =)


The Zone 2 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were: Nightmare, Banshee, Gray Minotaur, and Death Metal 2.
