Cavalcadence plays Cadence 39: Speedrun, sub-7min! (Seeded All Zones Mode)
For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So after encountering Green Bat #26, I noticed the Shrine of No Return, and I thought "Wow, a 1-1 Shrine of No Return would be great for a speedrun..." I put that thought away, though, because by that point I'd already given up on that run being a speedrun. ^^;
However, when I was reviewing the video later, I noticed... not only was there a Shrine of No Return, but later there were also Winged Boots and a Shrine of Glass! Add to that the possibility of a 1-1 Lucky Charm (via the Green Bat)... and this seed was looking even better for a speedrun. =)
So I figured... I could use some practice with the Glass Rapier (so many of my Glass Rapier speedruns end with the rapier shattering!)... maybe I'll give this seed a try! So I did! =) And after many many runs and lots of practice... I finally completed the seeded speedrun! Ironically, even on this run I shattered my Glass Rapier. ^^; Though I did still manage my fastest speedrun ever, so... overall, I'm pretty happy with this run. =)

The mini-bosses and bosses I encountered during this run were:
Zone 1: Green Dragon, Gray Direbat, Red Dragon, & King Conga 1.
Zone 2: Red Dragon, Blood Nightmare, Gray Direbat, & Coral Riff 2.
Zone 3: Gray Minotaur, Gray Direbat, Gray Minotaur, & Deep Blues 3.
Zone 4: The Mommy, Green Banshee, The Mommy, Dead Ringer, & The NecroDancer.

0:11 Zone 1, Level 1

0:40 Mini-boss: Green Dragon

0:57 Shrine of No Return! If you have a throwable weapon, you can essentially trade half a heart of damage for a Glass Rapier (and a War Drum). So basically: 1) throw weapon, 2) use shrine, 3) pick up weapon (to put glass rapier safely on the ground), 4) take "no return" damage, 5) pick up glass rapier.

BTW, this super-quick kill (which one of the more veteran NecroDancer players figured out quite a while ago) only works from the right side, I think because of the damage application order for the bomb blast... or something technical like that (the throne has to be destroyed before the blast hits King Conga). ^^;

3:38 Heh. =) The first time I got the Yetis to line up like that was a bit of an accident, but it made getting to the exit pretty convenient, so I spent some time figuring out how to make it happen again. ^^

5:00 Mini-boss: Green Banshee

5:35 Mini-boss: The Mommy. I was being a little more careful than perhaps I should have been here, because during my previous game, the confuse mage essentially ended my run here. =p
6:00 Zone 4, Boss: Dead Ringer
6:09 Glass Rapier shattered! Ack, skeleton knight! =/ Umm, umm, this could be bad, can I still salvage this? Not sure, but since I made it this far, might as well try! ^^;
6:23 Zone 4, Final Boss: The NecroDancer. Wow, actually got here in decent time, despite losing my Glass Rapier! ^^; Whoops, I'm heading the wrong way. ^^;;
7:11 Yes! Oh wow, that's really close to 7 minutes! Do I have enough time to make it to the stairs for a sub-7...?
7:16 Woo! My first ever sub-7 victory! =) Though it was in Seeded mode... but still, a sub-7 is faster than I expected I'd be able to do on this Seed! ^_^
