So... I was working on a Cadence speedrun, and I actually got an Obsidian Rapier on 1-1! Since two of my best Cadence speedruns so far have been with the Obsidian Rapier, this was a promising start, and I was looking forward to what else this run might bring.
It brought a Green Bat. =)
And then it brought a Ring of Becoming. Which I accidentally picked up. =p
So for the first time ever, I was battling a Green Bat with a Ring of Becoming equipped (for those of you unfamiliar with it, the Ring of Becoming can be turned into the Ring of Wonder (which is arguably the best Ring in the game)... but until then, any damage you take results in insta-death). ^^;
I was able to turn the Ring of Becoming into a Ring of Wonder eventually, but that wasn't until after the Green Bat battle. ^^ Anyway, here's the video... hope you enjoy!
The Green Bat was encountered (Zone 1, Level 3) at around: 1:17
The mini-bosses and bosses I encountered during this run were:
Zone 1: Direbat, Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, & Deep Blues 1.
Zone 2: Red Dragon, Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, & Death Metal 2.
Zone 3: Gray Direbat, Gray Minotaur, Blue Dragon, & Coral Riff 3.
Zone 4: Blue Dragon, The Mommy, Blood Nightmare, Dead Ringer, & The NecroDancer.

1:20 This is a really cramped area for a Green Bat battle, though... I should clear some space.
1:22 Coin multiplier lost! Oops, can't dig that with this shovel. ^^;
1:27 Well, might as well retreat a bit to build up my coin multiplier again. ^^

1:47 Ring of Becoming. Ack, wasn't thinking and accidentally picked it up! I'll probably end up regretting that later. =p Well, back to the Green Bat, I guess... though I'll have to be extra careful now because of the Ring of Becoming. ^^;;

2:25 Hmm, I could use the Ring of Phasing to get rid of the Ring of Becoming... but honestly, I'm not very good with the Ring of Phasing, so it's probably more likely to end my run than the Ring of Becoming. ^^;;
