So... okay, now that that's out of the way... Hades! ^_^
I actually purchased Hades back in the first half of 2021, because it seemed like the sort of game I'd enjoy. =) Unfortunately, for various reasons, I didn't quite get around to playing it until over a year later. ^^;
But sure enough, it did turn out to be the sort of game I'd enjoy. =) There is a lot of grinding, though (both for unlock resources and for story)... so if you're trying for the entire story, do be aware that you'll be playing through the game a LOT. ^^;
Anyway... the Aspect of Guan Yu (Eternal Spear, Hidden Aspect) was, for whatever reason, the Aspect I had the most trouble clearing the game with. I did manage, but it took more tries than any other Aspect, and more luck than I really wanted to rely on. ^^; So I kind of wanted to return to it at some point... and a little earlier this month, I finally did. =)
I decided to record and upload one of these Guan Yu runs, because I've kind of been wanting to post a Hades video, and this was as good an excuse as any. ^^ And since I was kind of thinking that the Winter Solstice is a fairly appropriate day for a game that basically (sort of) tells the story (myth) of why half the year is colder than the other half... that's why it ended up being posted today. =)
Some quick notes:
- The basic strat I've ended up using is basically built around True Shot... mainly because it's unblockable by enemies like Greatshields... and Theseus. =)
- The basic priority order for Keepsakes I used was: Artemis, Athena, Dionysus, Ares (if one of the previous wasn't necessary), and Patroclus (or Skelly, if worryingly low on Death Defiance)
- The specific Boons I tended to prioritize were:
* Artemis: True Shot, Exit Wounds
* Athena: Divine Dash
* Hermes: Quick Reload
* Dionysus: Strong Drink, Positive Outlook
* Ares: Ares' Aid (if another Call isn't being used)
* Chaos: +1 bloodstone, increased Cast damage

- More recently, I've started using Fiery Presence (instead of Shadow Presence) for True Shot builds, since the initial damage bonus means more enemies will fall in just one or two shots.
