So... I kind of wanted to try VPC4 Hive+ with Starch. ^_^ I actually did a couple quick test runs with her earlier in the year, but apparently got distracted by other things, and never quite got back to it... until now. =)

I didn't remember too much about those quick test runs, but I did remember that playing too "slow and careful" on VPC4 Hive+ could definitely cause some battery issues later on in the level... so I definitely tried to keep in mind to push the offensive pace whenever possible. ^.^

Anyway, as usual, the first thing I worked on was finding a decent opening strat for Starch... and very quickly found that destroying the red bird near the top of the screen was a safe-and-quick way to get an Accelerate. ^^ Ideally I wanted an opening strat that gave Starch a Firepower after the Accelerate, though... so I was actually testing out various things to do after that, to see if I could find a strat that worked well for her... when this run happened. ^^;

Despite not getting a Firepower, the first phase went pretty well for Starch... then the second phase went pretty well too... ^.^ And, well, long story short, despite a couple close calls, Starch actually managed to make it through to the end... and I ended up with my first ever Starch vs. VPC4 Hive+ S+! ^_^
