So I was playing some normal Mary runs... and on this particular run, the game didn't seem to want to offer Mary extra damage or a weapon stronger than her starting spear... until 1-3. When the game offered her both a Glass Longsword and a Glass Jaw. ^^;
It occurred to me than an 8-damage weapon would probably make for a pretty good speedrunning build...
Of course, we'd already spent a lot of time before finding the longsword... but I was thinking it might be fun to see how much of a speedrun we could still salvage... so I decided to make this a Glass Longsword speedrun. =)
Even with the late start, a sub-15 seemed like it might(?) still be possible... so that's what I decided to aim for.
As you can probably guess from the video Title, Mary didn't quite get the sub-15... but did manage to make it to the end without either the lamb or the sword getting hit... and actually ended up with a sub-15:30, which I'm pretty happy about. ^_^
