Cavalcadence plays Monk 55: Obsidian Dagger (All Zones Mode: SYNCHRONY)
So once again as a change of pace, I thought I'd play some Monk... and once again, on the very first run, the game offered a dagger on the very first level... Obsidian instead of Titanium like last time, though. ^^
And once again I started thinking... I don't think I'd ever completed an Obsidian Dagger Monk run before (while dagger is arguably a much safer weapon for Monk than Mary... having a 2+ range weapon is definitely safer for Monk as well!)...
So I decided to make this an Obsidian Dagger run. =)
Overall, things went fairly well... though the 1-3 Heavy Glass definitely helped by negating a couple mistakes. ^^; And oddly, Monk never did acquire any extra damage during this run (I usually prefer to get at least +1 damage with Obsidian weapons, since having 2-damage on coin multiplier loss is a lot safer than having only 1-damage!). Interestingly, every time Monk encountered an extra-damage option, the other option seemed to be the slightly safer choice, so... ^^
So anyway, here it is... my first ever Obsidian Dagger Monk win! Hope you enjoy!
