Cavalcadence plays Monk 1: Vow Down! (All Zones Mode (formerly "Hardcore Mode"))
I haven't gotten around to customizing my Monk yet, but... For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So, with the official NecroDancer launch only a couple days away (only 1 day away now, as I post this!), I thought I'd give Monk one more try, before I got distracted by Zone 4 and the other new things added to the official release. =)
Monk, BTW, is the character with the "Vow of Poverty", so if he picks up any Gold, he dies instantly (and since he can't pick up Gold, his score is based on how much Gold is left on the level when he leaves). On the plus side, though, he does get one item for free from every Shop. =)
Anyway, after several unsuccessful All Zones Mode (AZM) runs with Monk, I actually got a seed that gave me both a Map and a Blood Bow on Level 1-1... and I actually made it Level 3-1! ...before accidentally picking up some Gold. =p Anyway, Map + Blood Bow seemed promising, so I wrote down the seed, and tried it out in Seeded AZM.
It worked out pretty well. =) After a little practice (I'm too used to playing Cadence!), I finally managed to get my very first AZM Monk win (and the "Vow Down!" achievement ("Complete "All Zones Mode" with solo Monk"))... and here it is. Enjoy!
The Zone 1 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Minotaur, Gray Direbat, Red Dragon, and Coral Riff 1.
The Zone 2 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, Gray Direbat, and Death Metal 2.
The Zone 3 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Blue Dragon, Blood Nightmare, Gray Direbat, and King Conga 3.

0:01 Zone 1, Level 1
0:10 Map!
0:57 Blood Bow! (from Shrine of Blood)
1:00 First coin multiplier lost. I realized I should probably destroy the green slime before opening the door... then accidentally re-entered the shrine room... and hit two keys at the same time in surprise. =p
1:18 Mini-boss: Minotaur
1:49 Zone 1, Level 2
2:10 Decided to use the bomb trap to destroy some of the Gold, to make it a little easier to access the green slime later.
2:26 Decided to take the long way around, instead of digging to the exit room, since I wanted to encounter more enemies (Blood Bow healing). =)
3:17 Whoops, can't step on the bomb trap because of the Gold... =p
3:22 Mini-boss: Gray Direbat
3:36 Leprechaun! I'd completely forgotten about Leprechauns appearing out of large piles of Gold, or I probably would've waited on the other side.

10:04 Was planning to push the box into the spike trap... but forgot that boxes get stuck in mud. =p
10:12 Yay, got another bomb! I don't end up using it, but in general, bombs are useful for Monk, because they can clear paths by destroying Gold.
10:55 Taking a little breather in the health shop, since I didn't have to worry about enemies... or gold. =)
