Information= Routers signaling for (Routing Tables)
It is a Layer 3 or More
It understands IP
EX: End devices, Router
DCE (Data communication equipment)
A device that can either:
• Providing/ Supporting Physical Star topology.
• Providing / Supporting Clocking & Synchronization.
It is a Layer 1+2
It understands MAC
EX: Hub, Switch, Wireless access point and
CSU/ DSU Channelized service unit & Data service unit (Digital Modem)
(Modulator & de-modulator)
IDLE Time: Between every Frame = 64 bit = 8 bytes
