Welcome to Captain Chang Plays... Starfleet Command, Klingon Campaign!

We are in command of 2 Klingon Cruisers, IKV Catapult, and IKV Longbow, both are D5D, missile war cruisers.

We have another mission from the Black Fleet.

The shipyards in the Mehm system had vanished. While there was some Orion activity, this doesn't seem to be the work of pirates. Instead, we suspect the subspace ruptures in the area, several of which have been detected. Fly to each of them and scan each of them. There should be a clue as to what had happened. Then we will make them pay.

We arrived, and went to red alert, as we detected at least one Orion ship in the area. Turns out there are TWO. One came after us, and the other waited. We would have left them alone if they didn't attack us, but eventually, both did, and both died.

Then it's just a matter of turning on Deep Scan, and approaching each fissure within 30 kellicams (but no closer than 15, slow down if you have to).

It's probably the one in the "center", not the 5 along the periphery, but you need to scan all of them anyway. What I do is start on the closest, then pick a direction, and scan the next one I see if I turn left (or right) and keep going. So you end up circling the place, until you are left with the one in the center.

Your science officer would detect the signature of a tractor beam being used to pull a large object through.

Head into the fissure, and the mission ends, to be continued in part 2.
