(CCPlays) Starfleet Command | Klingon Campaign 7 The Cloak of Night | Let's Play
0Welcome to Captain Chang Plays... Starfleet Command, Klingon Campaign!
We are in command of a Klingon Cruiser IKV Cloudburst, a D6DB (That's D6-Drone Variant, with B-refit), with IKV Catapult a D5D as well.
The Mission is Cloak of Night.
We located a wormhole to a Hydran system where they are tested anti-cloak technology. We also have a Klingon frigate that's escorting us. We shall defeat any escorts on site, scan the freighter for its secrets, then destroy the freighter.
Upon transit through the wormhole, our escort, the frigate, has a commander that is behaving oddly. He kept muttering about why we are behaving in a such underhanded manner. Then he radioed the Hydrans in the open, warning them of us, and fired on us! We immediately returned fire and blew him out of the sky. In hindsight, we should have tried to capture him instead.
We then proceed to destroy the two escorts and their fighters, then blew apart the freighter, then returned home through the wormhole.
D6DB is NOT built for capture, having only a single transporter station. I think I'll command the D5D instead, or trade the D6DB for a D5D, when I see one.
HQ was miffed as we failed to bring the traitor back for questioning.
