Welcome to my final CDP of the month, and I'm bringing out another Causal Deck Profile to bring Graydle back into the conversation. The Graydle monsters consist of Level 3 Aqua monsters that, when destroyed by battle or a specific type of card while on the field, equip themselves to an opponent's monster to gain control of it. Graydle Eagle does so when destroyed by a monster effect, Graydle Alligator does so when destroyed by a Spell, and Graydle Cobra when via Trap. Unfortunately the rest of the Graydle cards are a bit too slow for the modern game, but these three still pack enough of a punch. So why not take this all the way, and attempt to wrestle full control of your opponent's board away from them? You do have a ton of options, from Triple Tactics Talent, to Mind Control, Brain Control, Snatch Steal, Change of Heart... so many options. And once you steal control of monsters with Levels, you can turn them into Vampire Xyz Monsters. The Zombie Vampire and Dhampir Vampire Sheridan each have a unique material condition in that it can treat monsters your opponent owns as Level 8 or Level 6 respectively for either's summon.
Alright, so what if your opponent has a monster that doesn't have a Level or can't be stolen? Then let's give them one, with the Kaiju monsters. These can be Special Summoned to the opponent's field by Tributing a monster they control, just take Gadarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju for example. While these won't be owned by the opponent for your Vampires, a number of them are already naturally Level 8, keeping the combos intact. You can even make full use of a neat trick with Interrupted Kaiju Slumber, because if you destroy Graydle Alligator, it can still trigger and equip to the Kaiju you summon to their board, which results in that opposing Kaiju going straight to the GY! Finally, the strategy of this deck is to allow your opponent to go first and summon away. And while they may set up an impressive board of negates, Mulcharmy Purulia and Mulcharmy Fuwaross will help you draw enough of your control-swapping cards to break that board anyways! Hope you enjoy this exaggerated deck concept, for fun of course!
