Hello and welcome to What Da Math.
This is a short review from a teacher that uses video games in his math class. This game is called Celestial Command and was released in Early Access (alpha version) in November of 2014. The game is very similar to Kerbal Space Program and allows you to create simple 2D space ships and to orbit various objects in a procedurally generated solar system.
It's also only $8 and will eventually include Multiplayer mode.
