Cement Prices Remain Flat So Far In December 2022 | ET Now | Latest Updates | Business News
According to the IIFL channel check, all-India cement prices in December 2022 so far have remained flat as compared to November 2022 exit prices. Cement companies’ attempts to further price hikes have not materialised on softer demand recovery. In the Central region, the pricing environment remains weakest, with current prices now falling below Sept-exit prices.
For Q3FY23 the all-India price is up 4% as compared to Q2 average prices or by Rs 14 per 50-kg bag. For the quarter, the highest increase is seen in the East and South, while flattish trends are seen in other Central, West, and North.
