CES 2011: Portal 2 + Razer Hydra
39Razer just introduced the 'Hydra' a 1-to-1 motion tracking technology developed by Sixthsense which will allow you to play games such as Portal 2 in ways you have never thought of.
The Hydra utilizes two wired controllers. User gestures are relayed around a small magnetic orb that creates a low-power field, sensing your position in space. The controllers also have thumbsticks, button, and triggers for non-motion-oriented tasks.
Razer is currently working with gaming company Valve to release the Hydra product alongside Portal 2, which launches on April 19th for $49.99. Valve will be creating exclusive levels in Portal 2 specifically for the Hydra controller which is great news for PC gamers.
