53Avengers review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Avengers (developed and published by Capcom) for arcades, also part of Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for PS2 and Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed for PSP.
Nothing to do with the Marvel franchise. Nope, nothing to see here. Just a dude going around town, punching and kicking various grapplers in the face, saving women and getting put in headlocks. Over and over and over again. It's like Gun.Smoke meets Final Fight, only there's no ranged attacks (unless you're lucky enough to stumble upon some kunai) and you move really slowly and the controls are kinda horrible. Still, um... you can punch trash cans! That's gotta count for something.
