Originally released in 1987, Black Tiger is an action platformer with a gameplay foundation similar to the classic games Ghosts 'n Goblins and Castlevania. Playing as the barbarian Black Tiger, you battle all manners of demons and monsters through hellish landscapes. Notable for its upgrades and inventory system, Black Tiger was in many ways ahead of its time.
