Widely considered one of the worst video games in history, Wayne’s World is a platformer based on the popular 1992 film. The game is set up as an episode of Wayne’s World in which the two hosts reminisce over recent mishaps, and players get to play through them. A sound idea, but the execution leaves it a rightful place in the gaming industry’s hall of shame. Although both Wayne and Garth are playable in the NES and Game Boy versions, only Wayne is playable in the Genesis version. His only weapon is to strum his guitar and obliterate his enemies with sweet riffs. And to hope you just turn off the console. Wayne’s World is a single-player game on the Genesis.
