One of many arcade collections released to the Game Boy Advance by DSI Games, this one is comprised of three of the most important games in history. Featuring the first major commercial video game (Pong), one of the first major arcade hits (Asteroids) and one of the first major console hits (Yars’ Revenge), this collection is like a Mt. Rushmore for the gaming industry. And unlike some of DSI’s GBA collections, this one doesn’t mar the memory of its included classics. Asteroids is a simple shooter that paved the way for lots of not-so-simple shooters, including games like Yars’ Revenge. And of course, Pong is Pong—you wouldn’t be playing whatever you’re playing today without it. Pong/Asteroids/Yars’ Revenge is a single-player game for the Game Boy Advance.
