Space Invaders review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Space Invaders for the Nintendo 64 developed by Z-Axis and published by Activision.
The arcade classic is reborn! With polygons! And it’s actually kind of awesome. Space Invaders is an updated and modernized version of the arcade classic, which is usually a recipe for disappointment. Not the case with Space Invaders. This game has 100 levels of classically styled arcade action. It doesn’t change the Space Invaders gameplay, but it does make some interesting additions. Players can attain special attacks by shooting four like-colored enemies in a row, and there are also crazy boss battles. And polygons! Space Invaders has single-player and local multiplayer on the Nintendo 64.
