Pendulous review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Pendulous, a downloadable game from Do Better Games on the Xbox Live Indie Channel for the Xbox 360. Pendulous puts you in control of a bunch of cogs or something. You have to get it to the finish, and you do that by swinging. You hook to the nearest connecting point automatically, provided you're within range. So you have to build momentum by swinging the ball, and you launch it by releasing. The levels are arranged like puzzles. It takes some thought—not to mention trial and error—to figure out the right angle, speed and approach to take.
