One of the things that's always intrigued me about the various online incarnations of Sega's Phantasy Star series is that, alongside the MMO aspect, there's usually a single-player campaign if you don't particularly want to deal with griefing jerks. Also, even if the MMO servers go offline, the disc doesn't become worthless. So yay for it! You can continue to grit your teeth at the voice acting and pacing issues for years to come. But hey, the UI is pretty awesome. I can't deny that.
