Chamption Gundyr S26 Pt1 Let's Play Dark Souls 3 Mage Edition
0Champion Gundyr is a hard fight when you first meet him. He's extremely aggressive and doesn't give you much space to work with. He also delays his attacks and does so relentlessly. He can be parried if you're into that, but as a mage I can't recommend that strategy.
As a caster, you do pretty good damage to Gundyr just with GSA. It's fast, so you usually won't get punished unless you cast at a very bad time. You CAN hit him with crystal soul spear but you have to be aware of WHEN you cast it. A slight mis time, and you're going to be smacked in the middle of it.
This fight took me a long time to get used to, it's one of; if not THE hardest boss fight in DS3. Well if you don't parry, since I imagine if you parry him it's easy.. but that's no fun.
