Changing a MAC address in Mac OS X is easy and quick from the command line, launch the Terminal to get started. You can either spoof another existing MAC address, generate a random one, or choose an assigned address. Read the full walkthrough here:

This has been tested to work in OS X Lion (10.7) and OS X Mountain Lion (10.8), prior versions of Mac OS X are slightly different but instructions can be found here:
