With your BLADE registration complete, it’s time to learn the ropes. Nagi, an experienced strategist, will introduce you to FrontierNav, a vital tool for mapping and managing Mira’s resources and territories.
📍 FrontierNav & Probe Placement Basics
🔹 What is FrontierNav?
FrontierNav is a real-time planetary mapping system that tracks exploration progress, resource extraction, and potential threats. BLADE uses it to coordinate missions and expand humanity’s foothold on Mira.
🔹 What Are Probes?
Probes serve multiple purposes:
✔ Data Probes – Expand your FrontierNav network and reveal more of Mira’s landscape.
✔ Mining Probes – Extract vital resources for gear upgrades and Skell maintenance.
✔ Combat Probes – Provide tactical support by revealing enemy weaknesses and fast-travel points.
🚀 First Mission: Deploy a Probe
Objective: Travel to a nearby FrontierNav segment and place your first probe.
1️⃣ Exit New LA and head to the Probe Site – Your map will guide you to the correct location.
2️⃣ Locate the Probe Console – Once at the designated point, interact with the Probe Terminal.
3️⃣ Deploy a Data Probe – This will expand BLADE’s mapping system and unlock fast-travel in the area.
4️⃣ Return to Nagi – Report back to finalize your training.
