Charge & Command Your Troops In This MEDIEVAL Hack & Slash ROGUELITE | Tears of Metal Demo Gameplay
1Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo or playtest of a game that was announced during the iii initiative. This is Tears of Metal, a medieval hack & slash roguelite that can be played in co-op, where you command a troops of units and charge against your enemies. You are killing hundreds of enemies and doing objectives, pretty much like in One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 (which is a pretty awesome game, btw), but with the roguelite addition; at the end of each stage you will be rewarded with upgrades that you can attach to your attack, heavy attack, dash or parry (Hades style) and you can also get money to open chests that will give you relics/artifacts for other passive upgrades.
Game looks great and it is a lot of fun, but performance is rough, items were meh, and the other troops felt pretty useless honestly. The most interesting part, in my opinion, was when you had to face a captain or a boss (Oh, and I didn't like the final boss, too much noise on the screen and the guy was too big to see the warnings about the incoming attacks).
