Chase: Hollywood Stunt Driver XEMU (XBOX) 4K 60FPS Gameplay Fully Playable
Runs great on default settings, maintaining a playable frame rate throughout. Any drops are minor and do not cause stutters. The FPS counter shows a constant 60FPS, but I believe the game runs a variable refresh rate as sometimes it felt like it dipped in to the 30s or 40s. Ran at 5x resolution in XEMU, which is just under 4K. Only minor issues in emulation are a slightly incorrect shadow when using the motorbike, the sound is a little unbalanced with certain effects, but still fine overall with nothing too off-putting and vehicle reflections can sometimes look a little off. Perfectly playable and a good experience.
This was another game which surprised me. I was expecting the worst, but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. It gives off the same crazy vibe as the Runabout (Felony 11-79) series, although the missions are different and rely on stunts and chases. Once you get to grips with the mechanics, there is a lot of enjoyment to be had with this game. The various goals in missions carry over on re-try's, so it is not too hard to get a perfect score on each mission. For example, you may have to complete it in a certain time, do a certain amount of drifting or a few barrel rolls. You can replay the mission and just focus on the drifting, then barrel rolls the next time you replay. A great way to keep it accessible and stops it from becoming frustrating. Another game I would definitely recommend for a try.
