7Make sure to get the JAPANESE version of the game otherwise it will run at 25FPS, making it almost unplayable! Use Vulkan or OpenGL in Dolphin Graphics Renderer settings otherwise sunlight effects cause massive slowdown!
In my opinion, this is the definitive way to experience V-Rally 3 on PC / Android today. It even has a widescreen mode in the options. Technically, the XBOX and PS2 versions are superior, as they run at double the frame rate (60FPS). The emulation of these games is bad though, with graphical bugs that plague them. The GameCube version runs at 30FPS if you have the Japanese version (language can be set to english on main menu easily as most text is english) which is still playable. The PC version is the worst. It handles wierd, looks worse, the camera is messed up and the game runs way too fast. One of the worst ports ever. It is an excellent rally game, with a wide selection of vehicles and well designed courses. It is classic V-Rally handling, direct and precise. It takes some getting used to, but once you do it is addictive. One of the most underrated titles of the generation, those who love driving games will surely get some enjoyment out of this one.
