Check'n Out.. Blockstorm - Minecraft Meets Call of Duty
Today were Check'n Out Blockstorm, a new early access title on Steam that blends the cub-based voxel goodness of games like Minecraft with the competitive 360 no-scoping of modern fpses. The game has a lot of similarity's to that of Ace of Spades only I feel this one has more emphasis on creation in terms of your character and the maps. You can fully customize your character both textures and shape and you can fully customize levels to suit your liking. Although it has more to the game I personally feel Blockstorm is very rough around the edges. The maps I played on were mostly very bland or simply put broken, the characters feel quite clunky and unresponsive at times. Overall I think this has potential and I can see why people would like it, but it's not my cup of tea personally.
