1The Light Keeps Us Safe is a stealth survival horror game.
This game is fascinating. You wake up in a bunker and are sent out into the now post apocalyptic world to scavenge for supplies with very little information. Your all alone, everybody else has died or gone and it's the mystery of what has happened and even what IS happening that really drives this game at the start; What can kill, what are you looking for, where is everybody? Eventually it begins to unravel but it's well written at the start using the mystery to enhance the tension and terror aspect of the game. You have no map so you need to keep track of where you are going which also gives a more realistic edge to the fear and terror feel of the game, you are all alone and getting lost and killed is a real threat. I'm not sure if a map is a later upgrade but your on your own at the start for sure. It feels like you are sneaking around trying to escape a concentration camp.
I really wish I had the time to play more it's very good with a fantastic atmosphere. They have done a great job and I definitely recommend it to any fan of horror, mystery, or thriller games.
