NightKnight is a fantasy archery VR game.

**VR disclaimer- This 2D video in no way captures the magic of the 3D VR experience and the performance issues seen in the video don't exist in the VR Goggles as this is a secondary image of the game shown on the PC screen.**

The game currently consists of a four week single player story mode campaign with co-op and multiplayer coming soon.

When I first started playing the game I found it to be very hard to land a shot and it kept sending archers, a harder enemy, at me so I kept dying. I was a few minutes away from giving it in but I persisted for a bit and I'm glad I did. I'm not sure why but the game seemed to decrease it's difficulty and sent far fewer archers in the early levels plus I found my preferred way to hold the bow and my aim got a lot better, I was finally having fun. I think it adapts difficulty at the start and it seems to start way too high so just stick with it for a while until it becomes easier then you'll have a great time.

The game play consists of you standing on the archers tower on a castles wall and every night skeletons, goblins, and other monsters attack and try to breach the castle. With your trusty bow you need to fend them off. At the end of each week you are rewarded with a new bow that possesses a different power. After you kill enough enemies you raise your bow above your head and activate the power. The last day of the week a boss monster turns up and spawns new enemies until you kill him. The enemies don't shoot you, they all aim for the castle gate to try and destroy it, if they do it's all over.

In the end I played it for nearly two hours, made it to fourth place on the leader board, and really enjoyed myself. I made it to day three of week four before I died but my video had to be cut off early due to a nasty popup that I didn't know had appeared over my recording. I added a screen shot of my results at the end for those interested. It's quite a good game and the price point is nice and cheap, when the multi player aspects are added it will be very good value.

I did notice it was very sluggish in the main menu an I was worried I wouldn't be able to play it but once I entered the game the performance was perfect. I was worried my GTX970 had finally met it's match but it was fine.
