Check'n My Memory of Us
2My Memory of Us is a beautifully made, casual, story based platform puzzler with narration by Patrick Stewart, possibly trying to make up for his god awful Peter Garret dance. I mean he didn't even realise the Oils wasn't on repeat. ;)
The story is about two young rascals, a boy and a girl, and the antics they get up to set to the backdrop of world war two, only in their imagination it's an evil robot invasion. Despite the period it is set in it's a fun and happy game because it's the rose colored recollections of a an old mans child hood.
It has fantastic monochrome art with splashes of red that are used to indicate objects you can interact with, usually part of the puzzle you are trying to solve. The game play is very well designed with the puzzles having the perfect difficulty, not so hard they hinder the gameplay but still requiring some exploring or thinking. Patrick Stewart does a great job of the narration, giving extra life to the game and the always welcome celebrity boost, plus there is a great soundtrack to accompany it all.
