Chernobylite 2 Early Access | My review after 30 hours!
And it''s promising.
Chernobylite 2 is a sequel of Chernobylite 1. The game is much bigger and has a bit of a different feeling, but there's a lot of the previous game's spirit there as well. Dark Souls style melee combat was added as well as open world. We have three factions so similar to Gothic or Elex games – paired up with an extensive character development.
How is the game? You'll find out in the video, but I found it decent enough and fun for me. I simply like Gothic-like RPG games. The start is a bit boring, but the game becomes better with time.
Would I recommend buying it right now? Only if you can survive technical issues. The game is in Early Access so there's a lot to improve, but now the gameplay itself is a strong foundation for things to come. Personally I'd buy it at the end of April, after we get a first wave of patches.
If you want to find all the details, just watch the video!
One of the questions you might have – is the game similar to Stalker 2? Well, the setting is fore sure similar, but the games are widely different. Still, very roughly there are some similarities, but overall, no.
