0In today's episode of the "Chibi-Robo!" playthrough, we destroy Mr. and Mrs. Sanderson's marriage and try to improve Mort's love life.
The title and thumbnail aren't lying. After we show Mrs. Sanderson a hidden toy receipt that we found, she reaches her breaking point, locks herself in the master bedroom, and has us deliver a letter to Mr. Sanderson in which she slams everyone in the family and states that she's on the verge of filing for divorce.
And just like when he preached that it's ok to steal as long as it's just a little, Telly is completely unfazed by the fact that because of us, the Sanderson family's relationship is worse than ever. Heck, the act of giving Mrs. Sanderson that receipt was so major that it causes the night to end no matter how much time is left, yet Telly acts like nothing's out of the ordinary. Meanwhile, when we get our hands on the battery of a long-discarded robot, Telly acts like we discovered cold fusion.
Though while we may have all but crushed almost all of what little hope is left in the Sandersons' marriage, that doesn't mean that we can't help love bloom, both literally and figuratively, by planting a nectar flower in Jenny's room so Mort can give it to Princess Pitts.
