Chibi-Robo: Plug into Adventure (Blind) - Episode 13: We Saved the Princess, But not Mort's Heart
In today's episode of the "Chibi-Robo!" playthrough, we reach the top of Princess Pitts' castle, return her shoe, and watch how she rejects Drake Redcrest.
Out of all of the structures that we've climbed so far in this game, Princess Pitts' castle is my least favorite not only because it drains a ton of battery, forcing you to make multiple trips, but to get to the top, you need to blast the minute hand on the clock with the Chibi-Blaster to form a bridge despite there being no indication that you can do so. With every other blastable object in the game, it's either hinted that the Chibi-Blaster will work on it by it having a Sunshine sticker or an NPC outright tells you to hit it. Meanwhile, with the minute hand, the only thing suggesting that you can blast it is the fact that it's wobbling, but that can easily be misinterpreted as the game trying to be immersive by adding some subtle movements to the world. And on top of that, you have to figure this out while climbing up a tall structure that gives you little room to perform unnecessary actions, lest you have to go back down to the ground to recharge your battery.
Nevertheless, we manage to reach Princess Pitts and return her shoe, allowing for her to finally leave her castle, only for Drake Redcrest to attempt to make a move on her. Though fortunately for Mort, Princess Pitts' isn't interested in Drake and actually prefers the dead flowers that the former has been leaving for her. Not to mention, if Drake started dating Princess Pitts, Sophie would probably snap and go on a rampage.
