0Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming sequel to the 2000 stop-motion animated comedy, "Chicken Run." Titled "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget," the film is set to premiere in December. It features a new voice cast, with Thandiwe Newton as Ginger, Bella Ramsey as Molly, and Zachary Levi as Rocky. The story follows Ginger's attempt to establish a peaceful chicken sanctuary after escaping the Tweedy farm, but a new threat emerges. Miranda Richardson reprises her role as Mrs. Tweedy, the villain, and Peter Serafinowicz joins the cast as Reginald Smith. The film resumes the original story over two decades later and is directed by Sam Fell. It's scheduled for release on December 15, 2023. The first "Chicken Run" was a box office success, grossing over $225 million.
