In this comprehensive guide, we'll show you how to acquire Contraband to boost your wealth and how to handle Contraband efficiently without the need for expensive upgrades or complicated maneuvers. With a bit of luck and strategy, this process can significantly enrich your Starfield experience.
Acquiring Contraband:
Before we dive into the process, ensure you have some DigiPicks, essential tools for your journey. If you don't have any, here's where you can find them.
Getting DigiPicks: Your journey starts in Jemisin, located within the Alpha Centauri system. Head to the bustling Mercantile shop, and within the Miscellaneous section, you'll find DigiPicks available for purchase. If you ever need more, simply refresh the shop's inventory by waiting for 48 hours at any bench.
Now that you're equipped with DigiPicks, you're ready to embark on your adventure. Let's delve into the intricacies of the Contraband trick, a surefire way to boost your early-game wealth.
The Contraband Trick:
Now that you've got your digipicks, we're gonna head to the Olympus star system, once inside of the olympus system make sure you head to an abandoned spaceport on the Planet of Nesoi,
For those seeking an extra challenge and better loot, open your settings menu and switch the gameplay difficulty to "Very Hard." This increases the quality of loot in the upcoming area.
Prior to docking at the abandoned Spaceport on the planet Nesoi within the Olympus star system, create a new save game. This is a crucial step for reloading loot drops later.
Upon docking at the abandoned Spaceport, you can safely switch the difficulty back to your preferred level.
In this zero-gravity environment, you'll encounter various enemies. Eliminate them to secure the area.
Keep an eye out for named enemies as they have a higher chance of dropping valuable loot. When you encounter one, perform a quick save and, if desired, reload to reroll their loot drops.
Once the area is clear of enemies, explore every nook and cranny to collect Contraband and loot. These items will serve as your primary source of income. From the bar area make sure you go to the left and up to the middle area.
If you possess sufficient hacking skills, use DigiPicks to access safes scattered throughout the area. The loot found in these safes can be particularly valuable.
Locate a computer terminal in the vicinity and navigate to the "Jackpot Combination" folder. Memorize or record the provided code 1219365, as it plays a crucial role in what follows.
Hidden within a secret room, you'll find Contraband stored within a chest. Collect it, along with any other valuable items you come across. Once you've collected your contraband, you will find a computer on your left side to access the jackpot backend. Use the Jackpot combination you found earlier and get your money.
Selling Contraband at "The Den" Casino:
To successfully sell your Contraband without getting scanned and having it confiscated, follow these steps:
Journey to the Wolf system, home to "The Den," a renowned casino and trade hub. Here, you'll encounter a Trade Authority vendor ready to buy your Contraband.
Dock with the station, and upon entering "The Den," you'll find the bustling casino. Navigate through the lively atmosphere to locate the Trade Authority vendor. Proceed to sell your Contraband, alongside any other loot you've amassed during your adventure.
Keep in mind that the vendor may have a limited amount of credits to purchase your items. Should they run out of funds, you can replenish their money by waiting for 48 hours at any bench.
By diligently following these steps, you can easily sell Contraband and accumulate wealth in Starfield. These tricks should provide you with a significant boost, especially in the early stages of the game.
