FUN FACT: Unlike the tie-in game for the original Chicken Run film, which was developed by Blitz Games, Eggstraction is done by Aardman themselves. That also means the voice cast from the sequel reprise their roles. As for the creation of the game, its behind-the-scenes video, showing the game's alpha build, was shown before we even got the first trailer for the actual movie!
Also, the game was originally intended to be a mobile game that was exclusive to Netflix subscribers. It made sense, since Dawn of the Nugget was a Netflix exclusive. However, after months of silence, Aardman eventually revealed that, in addition to Outright Games helping out with the publishing, Eggstraction would instead become a multiplatform game, releasing on PC and consoles.
