Chili Mafia is now on Kickstarter. A preview copy of the game was kindly provided by the publisher and game designers. Please note that all components may not be in their final form.
Chili Mafia is a set collection party game much like Sushi Go. At the beginning of the game, players draft cards and then on their turn they can form chili gangs, add chili members to an existing gang, play hot cards as well as action cards.
Players are aiming to create homogenous sets of chili gangs with at least three members. Homogenous chili gangs score double points at the end of the game.
Each chili member also has an associated strength or heat value attached to it. Hot cards allow chili gang members to face off and fight each other. Stronger chili gang members will usually beat up lower strength members.
Chili Mafia has a take that element to it that changes the state of the game each and every round. It also comes with a cooperative team based variant that is more supportive. So if any of this piques your interest then come and join me as well learn how to play.. Chili Mafia.
