8Disney's Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (チ ッ プ と デ ー ル の 大作 戦 2 Tipu to De: ru no Daisakusen 2, Chip and Dale Mission 2) is a video game based on the animated series Chip and Dale Rushing to the Rescue, developed by and published by Capcom in 1993 for the NES platform. The sequel to 1990's Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers.
Plot - One of the main villains opposing the rescuers - Fat Cat the cat - escaped from prison and plans to steal an item known as the Urn of the Pharaoh. To prevent rescuers from frustrating his plans, Fat Cat takes a series of distractions, the first of which is a time bomb left by his henchmen in a cafe. Chip, Dale and the entire team, having learned about this from the news, are sent to defuse the bomb. In a cafe, they find one of Fat Cat's henchmen, Rabbit, who planted this bomb, and when they cornered him, he confesses to Fat Cat's involvement in the bomb. Fat Cat thereby wanted to distract the Rescuers in order to steal the Pharaoh's Urn from the moored cargo ship.
Rescuers search the ship, but find nothing. But then Zipper notices Fat Cat running into the port warehouse. Chip and Dale run there, but find themselves trapped in the refrigerator. Despite the fact that they manage to get out of there in time before they freeze, during this time Fat Cat opens the Urn and releases evil spirits. Chip and Dale manage to retrieve the Urn and seal it. Then Fat Cat invites them to the amusement park for the final battle. After traveling to places of interest such as the Clock Tower, Westworld and Tomorrowland (the sequence of the passage of these three levels is chosen by the player), Chip and Dale open the door to the control room, where Fat Cat attacks them with a giant a robot made in his image. Chip and Dale destroy the robot and go to look for Fat Cat, but then the room begins to collapse and they, not finding him, are forced to flee. Reunited, the Rescuers conclude that Fat Cat clearly could have escaped, having thought out a plan for a possible retreat in advance, and swear that they will stop him the next time he appears.
