Chivalry 2 War Club Gameplay - Vanguard Devastator Build at Coxwell
241Today's Chivalry 2 gameplay features the War Club at the new Coxwell map. This map wasn't available in the Closed Beta, so the Open Beta is the first time we're seeing it in action.
In the Chivalry 2 open beta, I much prefer Coxwell to Rudhelm, for a handful of reasons, but primarily it's just far NICER to look at. It's vibrant and daytime and it's just nice to look at. Rudhelm on the other hand is washed out and dull, with too much gray and brown.
The Warclub is an OK weapon that I used with the Vanguard Devastator class. The damage leaves a bit to be desired, and because it's a blunt weapon, it's stop on hit. The game states that the War Club is "faster" with its release and windup, but there's no given comparison so take that for what it's worth.
The War Club certainly isn't one of my favorite weapons, but I'm still going through and trying everything to get a rough opinion on what I like and don't like, and why. That's just what you have to do with a new game like Chivalry 2.
