Cholo - Part 1 - Pseudo Retro
Cholo by Ovine is a remake of an early 3D game for computers like the Spectrum and the Commodore 64. This free remake apparently recreates the game faithfull, but with a much improved but still retro looking graphical style reminiscent of Tron.
After a nuclear war humanity resides underground. Your job is remote control a rat droid on the surface for some reason and find other droids to take control of and save humanity or something.
It's a fairly simple game, but must have been quite impressive at the time. I never played the original, but I might have liked it, although the wireframe graphics would probably have annoyed me.
Apparently Cholo is also an ethnic slur or something. I had no idea.
