PREVIOUSLY:
Roaming around in the temporal vortex, Serge, along with Harle and Sprigg were able to find a wormhole which lead them to the Hydra Marshes in Serge's home world. They tried accessing the portal in Opassa Beach, but the gateway would not open, Harle revealed that since the key is not with them anymore, the two worlds would not link, Serge served as the connection between the two worlds, and him being in Lynx's body disqualified him of serving as such.

The group decided to visit Serge's home. They were able to convince his mother that Lynx is in fact Serge, but the other villagers were skeptical, hearing of the news about a demi-human in their village, Radius rushed to their home and clashed swords with the party. During the fight however, the former Deva sensed no bloodlust from the attacks, and was persuaded that the feline demi-human was indeed Serge. They then had a conversation regarding the events of the two worlds, and the group found out that the general and the other dragoons have been missing for the past three years, Radius decided to accompany them on their journey to look for the missing dragoons, and also, to save their analogs in the alternate world.

The party took a trip to the manor to look for clues about the whereabouts of the general, but was already destroyed and in shambles when they arrived. Porre soldiers were patrolling the area led by their leader, Norris, who was initially sent by the main continent earlier to serve as a spy. According to him, it was Lynx that approached them about the existence of the Frozen Flame, since the mainlanders believed that the artifact was all a myth, he served as a cook in the manor to spy them. Apparently, Lynx wasn't the only one searching for the Flame, the general and his men were also looking for the same. As Norris was about to be called back to Porre, it was then that he heard news about the missing dragoons, he then was able to collect viable intel that proved that the acacia dragoons took a trip the Dead Sea.

Eager to find out the truth about the existence of the Frozen Flame, and what happened to the general and his men, Norris joined the group and gave access to the military boat. First, they will have to make a trip to Marbule, and ask the demi-humans on how they can enter the Dead Sea.
