Chrono Trigger (1995/2001) Intro Double Feature in BEAR-O-VISION™ (SNES) (Playstation) (4K)
Even bears love every detail of Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger, originally released for the SNES in 1995, is a legendary RPG praised for its innovative time-traveling storyline, memorable characters, and active-time battle system. The SNES version is often celebrated for its colorful 16-bit graphics, engaging gameplay, and iconic soundtrack composed by Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu. The PlayStation 1 version, released in 1999 as part of the "Final Fantasy Chronicles" compilation, includes the same core game but adds animated cutscenes created by Akira Toriyama, the character designer. While the PS1 version introduced these visual enhancements and additional content, it suffered from longer load times and slightly slower performance, leading some fans to prefer the original SNES release for its smoother experience.
What is BEAR-O-VISION™?
It's the visual quality standard preferred by bears, specifically rendered in VGA per-pixel at 4K resolution. It's among the highest quality output available for old games at the time of publish.
