Chrono Trigger - Non steam version (better version)

NDS and SNES
DS for its features and refined translation and FMVs, dungeons, etc.
SNES for its nostalgia, quirky translation and superior audio quality.
PSX and mobile ports, are utter garbage and should be avoided like the plague. Do yourselves a favor and save that 15 dollars for something useful, like petrol for your car.
In light of the abortive garbage that is Chrono Trigger "limited edition" being released to PC today, I decided to record the intro scene of the Snes version. I used an emulator (Snes9x), but so what? At least it's a proper version, runs better, has better sound, text, etc. The DS version is good as well, yes, but I grew up on the Snes version, and to see Square Enix botch it big time is just sad. Way to ruin childhoods, SE.
They could've used something like Higan (which is apparently licensed to be used commercially as long as they ask Byuu), bundled with the game, but no, they insist on using the mobile version. Then again, people would complain about system requirements if emulators would be used instead.
