In today's episode (Ep 2), The votes are in and we have decided to name Magus "Guile" after his Chrono Cross counterpart. This may have been a mistake depending on what theory you prescribe to. That might be a fun conversation in the comments below. The game throws you right into Magus' continued story line. Assumedly he is still searching for his sister.
Apparently with the merging of the two societies (I can't remember what they're called - But the magic users who live on the floating isle, and the despots that live down below. A little help here would be great.) The snow has begun to melt a little, and there are some remnants of magical items that have carried over. One in particular is a "healing square" from Zeal, and some jerk named Sargon is keeping it from the rest of the people who badly need it to stay healthy.
Well, we get to bully him into changing his mind. Shortly after, Dalton (yes, Dalton from Zeal) shows up and threatens to take it and runs off into the nearby "Beast Forest". Here are our first battles! Oh, how I missed this. Magus has lightning abilities now, so I don't know what the deal is there... is there something that has changed about his magic type since he turned good and is dealing with the demons from his past?
We picked up a magic tab hiding by a bush (still the same blue twinkle!) I haven't decided how I'm going to use those yet. So I left it up to viewers comments to decide how we will spend those awesome permanent character upgrades.
Fought a few more enemies, and wrapped up the episode. A couple things I have done here encouraged people to get video notifications so they are aware when the Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes episodes drop. Also, I instated a rule that first posters get double voting privelege. (I have a feeling where I left off this episode, we are really close to our first boss fight.)
