This ending is obtained through the "New Game Plus" mode. To get this ending you need to collect the hero medal from Tata and obtain all the pieces of the broken Masamune. Once you have all of these things go after Lavos before you go back to 65,000,000 BC to obtain the Dreamstone.

There doesn't seem to be anything super special in this ending. What you get are various scenes throughout the game and Robo putting up the "The End" text at the end of the sequence.
