I have returned from Japan! And I have brought with me a handful of videos recording on the trip! Over the next week or two I'll be uploading gameplay videos of CHUNITHM!
What is CHUNITHM? It is a music game created by SEGA. But it really sets itself apart from any other music game out there on the market. How? The cabinet features a touch pad and hand sensors for controls on hitting the notes in game!
There are several different notes in the game to hit...
TAP (Red and Yellow Notes)
HOLD (Pink/Yellow Long Notes)
SLIDE (Pink/Blue Long Notes)
FLICK (Single Blue Tap Note)
AIR TAP (Red tap with a green arrow marker)
AIR HOLD (Green Line)
AIR WAVE (Pink Single Notes on or at the end of an air hold)
(These are mostly unofficial names I have for each type of note, just put this here to explain some controls)
The game is really easy to pick up and such a blast once you start getting to level 9 and higher. Really hoping this gets imported stateside by Round 1 in the future. I could see it doing extremely well out here.
